Dental and medical clinics
Front desks cannot answer while they are with patients. Nora books checkups, handles price questions and puts tooth pain into emergency slots, not voicemail.
Nora is an AI voice receptionist for local businesses everywhere. She picks up every call in seconds, books appointments, answers the everyday questions and flags the urgent ones. At 2 in the afternoon, and at 2 in the morning.
Press play. A full sample call at a demo dental practice, answered start to finish in about a minute.
Nora's lines in this call are her real responses, word for word. Bright Smile Dental is a demo practice; the caller is played by an actor voice.
When the phone rings out, most callers do not leave a message. They ring the next business on the list. Put in your own numbers and see what that adds up to.
of bookings walking away, every month
That is €21,060 a year, and roughly 20 bookings a month that never reach your diary.
The maths: your calls per week, times the share missed, times the booking value, times 4.33 weeks. It assumes half of the callers who got no answer would have booked. Nora costs €250 a month, plus the calls at cost.
No drama, no missed lunch rush, no voicemail box filling up. This is a sample day at a busy dental practice running Nora.
Before the practice even opens, a caller books a checkup for Thursday. In the diary, confirmed by text.
"How much is a cleaning?" Nora quotes your price list and turns it into a booking instead of a hang-up.
Tooth pain. Nora recognises it as urgent and books the caller into a same-week emergency slot, not a callback queue.
A new patient asks where you are and where to park. Nora answers from your details and offers an appointment while she has them.
A patient needs to move an appointment. Nora finds a new slot and re-confirms by text. No phone tag with the front desk.
The practice is closed. A new patient rings anyway and books for Saturday morning instead of finding another clinic.
A caller asks to speak to a person. Nora takes their number and arranges a callback from the team within the hour.
Every call, whatever the hour, ends the same way: a short written summary lands in your inbox, and every booking lands in your calendar.
Setup is done for you. There is nothing to install and no new number to print on your vans or your door.
Your hours, your services, your prices, your emergency rules and how you like bookings taken. Nora is trained on your business, not a generic script.
You keep your existing number. You choose how Nora works: answering every call, or only the ones you cannot pick up, when you are busy, closed or on the tools.
Bookings go into your calendar, confirmations go out by text, emergencies get flagged, and you get a written summary of every single call.
If your customers ring to book, and a missed ring means a missed job, Nora was built for you.
Front desks cannot answer while they are with patients. Nora books checkups, handles price questions and puts tooth pain into emergency slots, not voicemail.
Scissors in hand, phone ringing. Nora takes the booking, the reschedule and the "do you have anything Saturday?" while your chair stays full.
You cannot answer from under a sink or up a ladder, and the evening call-out goes to whoever picks up first. Nora picks up first, every time.
Treatment rooms are quiet rooms. Nora answers in the corridor so your sessions stay undisturbed and your diary stays full.
One plan, on a monthly or yearly contract. The only extra is the calls themselves, passed through at cost and itemised on your invoice. No markup, no surprises.
Billed monthly. A rolling monthly contract, renewed each month.
Every call answered, 24/7. Nights, weekends, lunch hours and the middle of your busiest morning.
Appointments booked and confirmed. Straight into your calendar, with a confirmation text to the caller.
Your questions answered. Hours, prices, directions and parking, quoted from your own details.
Emergencies flagged fast. Urgent callers are recognised and booked into the emergency slots you set aside.
A human when it matters. Anything Nora cannot handle becomes a callback request, passed to your team with the caller's number.
A summary of every call. Who rang, what they wanted and what was booked, in your inbox.
No. Nora speaks in a natural, conversational voice and understands everyday English, accents and all. Do not take our word for it: the sample call at the top of this page is the best answer we can give you.
Nora introduces herself by name, as your receptionist. She never claims to be human, and if a caller asks, she answers honestly. In practice, most callers just get what they rang for: an answer, an answer to their question, or a booking.
She does not guess. Nora takes the caller's number and arranges a callback from your team, and anything urgent is flagged in the call summary so it never sits unnoticed in a voicemail box.
No. Your number stays exactly as it is, on your door, your vans and Google. We set up forwarding so Nora answers every call, or only the ones you cannot get to: when you are busy, closed, or already on another call.
Setup is €400, once. After that it is €250 a month on a monthly contract, or €2,500 a year on a yearly contract, which works out at two months free. On top of that, the calls themselves are billed at cost and itemised on your invoice: what the phone network charges is what you pay, with no markup from us. At roughly a cent a minute, most small businesses see only a few euro a month.
Caller data is handled to GDPR standards, wherever your business is based. Call summaries and transcripts are kept for 90 days, so you can check exactly what was said and booked, and then deleted automatically. Callers hear a short notice at the start of each call that it may be recorded, just as on most business lines.
Any business that takes bookings or enquiries by phone and loses work when the phone rings out: dental and medical clinics, salons, trades and home services, physio and wellness clinics. If your callers mostly ask the same kinds of questions and book the same kinds of appointments, Nora will handle your phones well.
The fastest way to judge Nora is the way your customers will: on the phone. Play the sample call, run your own missed-call numbers, and when you are ready, the first step is a short intro call with our team, where we set up a live demo on your own mobile.
